Welchen Einfluss haben Wissenschaftler auf Medien und die Wirtschaftspolitik?

Abstract

Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird untersucht, welche forschenden Volkswirte und Nicht-Ökonomen direkten Einfluss in Öffentlichkeit und auf die Wirtschaftspolitik haben. Zu diesem Zweck machen wurden Zitate wissenschaftlicher Publikationen und Nennungen von Wissenschaftlern in führenden Medien und Nennungen von Wissenschaftlern durch Entscheidungsträger analysiert. Für die beiden Analyse-Jahre 2013 und 2014 zeigt sich eine - überraschend - hohe Stabilität der Ergebnisse, die auch Sensitivitätstests unterzogen werden.
