El Sistema Nacional de Evaluación del Desempeño Docente (SNED) en Chile

Abstract

El tema educacional ha alcanzado una enorme relevancia en los últimos años, tanto en países desarrollados como en países en desarrollo. La razón de esto reside; por una parte, en la evidencia que muestra la importancia de la educación para la sociedad, la economía y su rol en la distribución del ingreso. Por otra parte, se ha constatado que en muchos países en desarrollo, si bien se ha superado el problema de cobertura educativa, aun subsisten problemas con la calidad educativa y la distribución de la misma entre distintos segmentos de la población.
