Working in middleground mode: creative communities and intermediary institutions

Abstract

Los middlegrounds permiten interacciones esenciales entre las necesidades de innovación de los uppergrounds y las producciones creativas de los undergrounds. Exploramos la hipótesis de que estas entidades están en el corazón de una dinámica de creación institucional más amplia. En cuatro estudios de caso, articulamos los conceptos de middleground (Simon, 2009), institución intermedia (Sainsaulieu, 2001), idea de obra y persona-institución (Hauriou, 1925) y conflicto (Simmel, 1908). Los estudios de caso revelan articulaciones sofisticadas entre middelgrounds, uppergrounds y undregrounds y muestran que "trabajar en modo middleground" podría constituir una de las instituciones intermediarias necesarias en las transformaciones actuales de nuestras sociedades.
