Une vision institutionnaliste-historique de l'état social

Abstract

L'État social se réduit-il à l'État fordien ? On montre d'abord que les principales visions de la modernité (classique, marxienne, néolibérale) ne permettent pas de répondre de façon satisfaisante à cette question. On se dote ensuite d'une vision renouvelée, s'inscrivant à la fois dans l'école de la régulation et le tournant pragmatique faisant une place à la signification. Cette vision conduit à une définition de l'État social qui englobe l'État fordien et qui conduit à dire qu'une nouvelle forme est en gestation.
