Abstract

L'économie de la sécurité internationale ne peut se passer d'études interdisciplinaires. Elle s'inscrit dans le domaine de l'économie politique? les études formalisées et économétriques n'offrent pas de relations tables dans le temps et dans l'espace du fait aux difficultés conceptuelles de l'information statistique et au secret de l'information. Or, la sécurité est un instrument essentiel pour le développement économique d'un pays. Il s'agit alors de déterminer les coûts d'opportunité des dépenses militaires, de déterminer les choix stratégiques les mieux adaptés et les moins coûteux, tout en créant les moyens de dissuasion nécessaires.
