¿Cuánto Estarías Dispuesto A Pagar Por Hacer Home Office? Evidencia Empírica Para Argentina Usando Modelos De Duración

Abstract

Este trabajo estima, para Argentina, la disposición marginal a pagar de los asalariados por realizar trabajo remoto. Para ello se utilizan datos de la Encuesta Permanente de Hogares (EPH-INDEC) y se estiman modelos econométricos de duración que revelan las preferencias relativas de los individuos por los atributos de los empleos. Esta metodología permite eliminar algunos sesgos que surgen de estimar la disposición marginal a pagar a partir del enfoque clásico de precios hedónicos. Los principales resultados sugieren que el trabajo remoto es percibido como una característica atractiva por parte de los asalariados, puesto que los impulsa a permanecer más tiempo en una determinada relación laboral, ceteris paribus. En términos relativos, se estima que los asalariados estarían dispuestos a pagar cerca de un tercio de su salario por trabajar bajo esta modalidad más flexible, lo cual representa poco más de un dólar por hora trabajada, en promedio.
