Mitbestimmungsverhalten und Arbeitsbeziehungen in ausländischen Unternehmen in Deutschland: Ergebnisse einer vergleichenden Management- und Betriebsräteumfrage

Abstract

Wie sieht es mit der Mitbestimmung in ausländischen Unternehmen in Deutschland aus? Auf der Basis einer repräsentativen Umfrage sowohl des lokalen Managements als auch der Betriebsräte zeigt diese Studie, dass die Betriebsräte die Situation zwar deutlich kritischer sehen, grundsätzlich aber mit dem Mitbestimmungsverhalten der Unternehmen zufrieden sind. Mitbestimmungsprobleme zeigten sich in Tochterunternehmen US-amerikanischer Investoren, in stark zentral geführten Tochtergesellschaften sowie dort, wo die Konzernzentrale mit den Arbeitsbeziehungen am deutschen Standort nicht vertraut ist.
