Integration von Frauen auf dem niederösterreichischen Arbeitsmarkt

Abstract

Der Projektbericht widmet sich der Beschäftigung von Frauen bzw. von Frauen mit Migrationshintergrund und dem Gender Gap in der Beschäftigung. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Beschäftigung von Frauen in Niederösterreich. Die Analyse der verschiedenen Datenquellen aus der abgestimmten Erwerbsstatistik und der Mikrozensus-Arbeitskräfteerhebung zur Frauenbeschäftigung liefert ein umfassendes und konsistentes Bild für Niederösterreich. Die Ergebnisse bestätigen einerseits den in der Literatur seit den 1960er-Jahren beschriebenen Trend zur Erhöhung der Frauenbeschäftigungsquote, zeigen andererseits immer noch einen Gender Gap, der vor allem in der Gruppe der Personen mit Migrationshintergrund aus Drittländern sehr stark ausgeprägt ist.
