Abstract

Los profesores universitarios, son expertos destacados en su materia sin lugar a duda. No obstante, no obtienen tina formación básica en psicología, ni pedagogía como es común en la educación primaria y secundaria. Este libro quiere cerrar esta brecha, da una pequeña sinopsis introductoria del estado del arte respecto a teorías de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Pregunta, ¿Cómo podemos manejar la diversidad entre estudiantes respecto a inteligencia y motivación?, ¿Cómo podemos diagnosticar y posiblemente mejorar nuestras competencias en el campo de la didáctica, comunicación y evaluación?, ¿Qué y para qué estudian nuestros alumnos y cómo podemos estructurar cursos y clases a partir de estas temáticas? Da un panorama de diferentes medios tradicionales y electrónicos de enseñanza y formas sociales de ello en el ámbito presencial y virtual, pero también sobre formas de asesoría personalizada. Concluye con una reflexión de la inmensa responsabilidad que tienen los profesores para la biografía educativa de sus estudiantes y cómo estar a la altura de ella.
