Ein-Euro-Jobs in Deutschland verfehlen ihre Beschäftigungsziele deutlich

Abstract

Mit mehr als 750.000 Teilnehmern pro Jahr sind sogenannte Ein-Euro-Jobs das am häufigsten eingesetzte Instrument zur arbeitsmarktpolitischen Aktivierung von Arbeitslosengeld II-Beziehern. Sie haben das Ziel, die Chancen der Teilnehmenden zur Aufnahme einer regulären Beschäftigung zu erhöhen. Wie eine aktuelle Studie des ZEW zeigt, verfehlen Ein-Euro-Jobs diese Zielsetzung jedoch deutlich und wirken zum Teil sogar kontraproduktiv.
