Erfolgsfaktoren in landwirtschaftlichen Unternehmen

Abstract

Welche Faktoren beeinflussen den Erfolg landwirtschaftlicher Unternehmen? Der Versuch, einige dieser Faktoren zu identifizieren, steht im Mittelpunkt der vorliegenden Analyse. Die Untersuchung ist kausalanalytisch angelegt. Wie die Regressionsanalyse beleuchtet sie Ursache-Wirkungs-Muster. Die Regressoren sind allerdings nicht unmittelbar beobachtete Größen, sondern latente Variablen. Bedingt durch diesen Sachverhalt wird eine Verbindung zwischen der Regressionsanalyse und dem Ansatz der Faktorenanalyse hergestellt. Empirische Grundlage der Analyse sind Jahresabschlüsse landwirtschaftlicher Unternehmen aus dem südlichen Sachsen-Anhalt in den Jahren 1995/1996 bis 1999/2000. Der Unternehmenserfolg wird durch den Saldo zwischen den Umsatzerlösen und den variablen Aufwendungen der pflanzlichen Produktion erfasst. Die identifizierten Erfolgsfaktoren (latente Variable) entstammen verschiedenen Funktionsbereichen der Unternehmensführung. Zu unterscheiden sind die Dimensionen Markt, Produktion und Technologie, Aufwandskontrolle und Faktorstruktur. Im Ergebnis lassen sich Aussagen in zweierlei Richtung ableiten. Die Hintergrundfaktoren haben erstens einen kausalen Einfluss auf ihnen zugeordnete Indikatorvariablen. Und sie nehmen zweitens kausal Einfluss auf den Unternehmenserfolg. Das Gewicht jeder dieser Dimensionen für die Zielgröße ist erwartungsgemäß nicht einheitlich. So verändert die quasi-fixe Faktorstruktur die Zielgröße kaum. Ein mäßiges, aber gleichwohl nennenswertes Gewicht hat die latente Variable Produktion und Technologie. Erfolgsfaktoren von sehr hoher Bedeutung sind hingegen das Marketing und die Aufwandskontrolle (Quelle: Verlag).
