Das WIFO-Radar der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der österreichischen Wirtschaft 2023

Abstract

Das WIFO-Radar der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit erfasst die Leistungsfähigkeit des Standortes Österreich unter Berücksichtigung wirtschaftlicher, sozialer und ökologischer Zielgrößen. Im Durchschnitt über 24 Indikatoren konnte Österreich zuletzt zum obersten Drittel der europäischen Vergleichsländer aufschließen. Dazu trugen u. a. die Produktivitätskennzahlen im Jahr 2022, die Erholung im Tourismus und eine Rangverbesserung bei den Umweltpatenten bei. In der Dimension Arbeitsmarkt und soziale Lebensverhältnisse verlor Österreich erneut an Boden.
