Die Schwarzmeerregion – Wirtschaftsentwicklung und Bedeutung für Österreichs Außenwirtschaft

Abstract

Die Länder der Schwarzmeerregion – an der strategischen Schnittstelle zwischen Europa, Zentralasien und dem Nahen und Mittleren Osten gelegen – gewinnen aufgrund der geographischen Nähe, der Rohstoffvorkommen und des Absatz- und Arbeitskräftepotentials zunehmend an Bedeutung. Da sich die Volkswirtschaften dynamisch entwickeln, werden sie künftig ein großes Nachfragepotential bilden. Insbesondere die Türkei ist wegen ihrer Größe ein bedeutender Markt. Österreich hat gute außenwirtschaftliche Beziehungen zur Schwarzmeerregion, die aber noch ausgebaut werden können. In der Ukraine ist die Wettbewerbsposition der österreichischen Unternehmen gut, die Exportstruktur Österreichs stimmt in hohem Maß mit der Importnachfrage der Ukraine und der Türkei überein.
