Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Große Koalition stellt mit der Grundrente vor allem langjährige Beitragszahler besser. Allerdings bekämpft die Grundrente lediglich ein Symptom, statt sich den Ursachen zu widmen: der Politik niedriger Löhne und falscher politischer Maßnahmen. Niedrige Löhne führen zu niedrigen Renten. Die politische Verantwortung für niedrige Renten und Altersarmut macht zur Erreichung existenzsichernder Renten einen steuerfinanzierten Ausgleich notwendig.
