Verbreitung und Gestaltung des Talentmanagements in deutschen Unternehmen — Eine empirische Analyse

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Obwohl Talentmanagement in Wissenschaft und Praxis zunehmend diskutiert wird, finden sich bislang kaum empirische Studien zu seiner Verbreitung und Gestaltung in deutschen Unternehmen. Der Aufsatz reduziert dieses Forschungsdefizit, indem eine Studie präsentiert wird, in der 313 Unternehmensvertreter zum Talentmanagement befragt wurden. Die Auswertung verdeutlicht neben der zunehmenden Einführung des Konzepts in den letzten Jahren drei typische Maβnahmenbündel des Talentmanagements. Seine konkrete Gestaltung wird auf Basis des Situativen Ansatzes dadurch erklärt, dass Unternehmen einen „Fit“ zwischen unternehmensspezifischen Merkmalen und der Gestaltung anstreben. Die Studie belegt dies für vier Cluster an Unternehmen, deren Talentmanagement sich in Abhängigkeit von Kontextfaktoren (deutlich) unterscheidet.
