Effizienz, Anreizgestaltung und Implementierung von Prozessinnovationen: Eine empirische Untersuchung anhand des Desktop-Purchasing

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die institutionenökonomische Hauptthese, dass die Zuordnung der relevanten, intangiblen Wissensbestandteile zu den Entscheidungsrechten wichtig für die effiziente Implementierung von Innovationen ist, wurde empirisch untersucht. Mit einem Datensatz deutscher Unternehmen wurde dabei die effiziente Implementierung von Prozessinnovationen am Beispiel Desktop-Purchasing analysiert. Durch die Nutzung der Data Envelopment Analyse konnten Größen mit unterschiedlichen Maßeinheiten einbezogen werden, was methodisch einen ganzheitlichen Fokus auf die Prozessinnovation ermöglichte. Die institutionenökonomische Hauptthese konnte anhand des vorliegenden Datensatzes empirisch bestätigt werden, wobei: ■ der Einbezug der Endbenutzer in die Implementierung einen negativen Effizienzeinfluss hat ■ eine Umsetzung mit einem stärkeren Einbezug des Top-Managements — zu Lasten eines direkten Einbezugs der Mitarbeiter — einen positiven Einfluss auf die Effizienz hat ■ indirekte Involvierungen der Mitarbeiter, insbesondere in Form von Schulungen, einen signifikanten und im Vergleich mit anderen Einflussfaktoren auch erheblichen, positiven Einfluss auf die Effizienz haben ■ die Durchführung eines Pilotprojekts einen positiven Einfluss auf die Gesamteffizienz des Systems hat.
