Mind the information gap: fertility rate and use of cesarean delivery and tocolytic hospitalizations in Taiwan

Abstract

The exogenous decline in the Taiwanese fertility rate and the use of detailed medical information and demographic attributes of pregnant women allowed us to avoid the endogeneity problem that threatened the validity of prior research.
