Abstract

The aim of this article is to discuss the measurement of effectiveness of products of health care, which in virtually every country becomes the focal point of interest to the providers, payers, recipients, consumers of these products as well as to the supervising and regulating authorities. The article presents reflections on measuring the effectiveness of medical services in the American health care system.
