Mesure de l'efficience technique dans le secteur de l'éducation: une application de la méthode DEA

Abstract

Dans cet article, nous mesurons l'efficience technique des ecoles de maturite suisse romandes avec la methode non parametrique DEA. Les resultats revelent d'importants ecarts de performance entre etablissements et entre cantons. L'efficience technique moyenne s'eleve a 85%. La prise en compte de l'environnement socio-economique des eleves fait passer celle-ci a 94%. Les facteurs explicatifs des ecarts de performance sont analyses a travers diverses methodes. Les resultats montrent que l'environnement socio-economique des eleves et le statut de l'enseignant jouent un role significatif dans la variance des scores d'efficience. L'effet de l'experience de l'enseignant est peu concluant de meme que celui de son niveau de formation.
