Land aspect in the development of individual agricultural farms of the Baikal region

Abstract

The article deals with the development and transformation of agricultural land usage in the modern world. The current system of land tenure in the changing situation of national and international food markets requires immediate change according to current realities. This fully applies to the system of land tenure, and to the general development of the agricultural complex of the Baikal region. Given the sharp increase in food demand from rapidly developing Asia-Pacific countries requires agility of a regional system of agrarian land use. This will not only go to one of the largest regional food markets of the world, but also greatly increase the competitiveness of the agricultural complex of the Baikal region. The article analyzes the current system of land use and the history of its formation, on the basis of which proposed several measures to improve the efficiency of land use.
