„Und wie fanden Sie es heute Abend?“ Eine empirische Analyse des Zuschauerurteils im Sprechtheater

Abstract

We investigate which factors contribute to a visitor’s overall evaluation of his visit to the theater. More precisely, the paper aims at answering the following questions: 1) What is the impact of primary service and servicescape on a visitor‘s overall evaluation of his or her visit to the theater? 2) What is the impact of a visitor’s personal response (i.e., cognitive, emotional, and conative response) on his or her overall evaluation of a visit to the theater? Building on a qualitative study, we report the results of a quantitative study of 2,795 visitors viewing 44 performances in 12 German-speaking theaters.
