Abstract

Tanulmányunk az ágazatok közötti kereseti különbségek mértékét, keletkezésük okait elemzi Magyarországon, a kilencvenes évek végén. Az első részben - mely a Közgazdasági Szemle 2003. novemberi számában jelent meg - áttekintettük az ágazatközi bérkülönbségekre vonatkozó legfontosabb elméleti megfontolásokat, és bemutattuk az elemzésükre szolgáló modellek alaptípusait. Majd egy nem kompetitív alkumodellt javasoltunk a magyarországi helyzet elemzésére, s empirikusan ellenőrizhető statisztikai modelleket vezettünk le a vállalati és munkavállalói járadékok keletkezésére vonatkozó feltevésekből. Tanulmányunk második részében kerítünk sort a mérésekre, az elméleti modell tesztelésére. Két lépésben - a kiegyenlítő bérkülönbségek hatásától megtisztított ágazati bérek becslésével, majd ezek ágazati szintű elemzésével - vizsgáljuk a szektorok közötti kereseti eltérések forrásait. Tanulmányunk legfontosabb következtetése, hogy 1998-ban Magyarországon a magas piaci koncentráció és a szakszervezeti aktivitás egybefonódásának esetében alakultak ki különösen magas ágazati bérek.
