Abstract

A cikk a nyugdíj irodalmának néhány, elmélettörténeti szempontból alapvető jelentőségű modelljét mutatja be, amelyek rávilágítanak az irodalomban a felosztó-kirovó rendszerek leglényegesebb tulajdonságaira, illetve hiányosságaira. Az irodalomban sokszor a "generációk közötti transzferek" megközelítéseként (intergenerational transfer approach) emlegetik ezt a modellcsaládot. A szerző viszonylag részletesen tárgyalja a samuelsoni alapmodellt, amelyre rengetegen hivatkoznak, mindig másmás indokkal. Sok tanulsággal szolgált a Samuelson-Lerner-vita, amely amellett, hogy felszínre hozta az eredeti modell néhány hiányosságát, más, nagyobb lélegzetű kérdéseket is felvetett (igazságosság, közgazdaságtan és matematika viszonya stb.). A szerző a valamilyen értelemben optimális rendszerek vizsgálata után a téma leíró, pozitív megközelítéseit mutatja be, különös tekintettel a Greene által vázolt koncepcióra. Az írás harmadik, záró része az együtt élő nemzedékek modellcsaládjának játékelméleti megközelítését próbálja vázolni, a jelenlegi nyugdíjreformra vonatkozó néhány megjegyzés kíséretében.
