Az újraiparosítás hatása a hazai térségek felzárkózási pályáira
[The impact of reindustrialization on the convergence paths of Hungarian regions]

Abstract

A Közgazdasági Szemle 2018. évi májusi számában jelent meg Lengyel Imre és Varga Attila A magyar gazdasági növekedés térbeli korlátai - helyzetkép és alapvető dilemmák című tanulmánya, amely a megyék típusainak felzárkózási pályáit mutatta be 2000 és 2016 között. Empirikus vizsgálatukra támaszkodva elméleti és gazdaságpolitikai dilemmákat egyaránt felvetettek, többek között a fővárosi térség stagnálásával és a külföldi érdekeltségű feldolgozóipari vállalatokkal működő térségek dinamizmusával kapcsolatban. Tanulmányunkban a fontosabb idősorokat 2022-ig bezárólag vizsgáljuk, és fő megállapításunk, hogy 2016 után új felzárkózási pályák figyelhetők meg: a főváros térségének gazdasága felélénkült, míg a feldolgozóipari vármegyék visszaestek, tipikus fejlődési csapdába kerültek, a többi vármegye felzárkózása pedig lassú maradt. Napjainkban az ország gazdasági növekedését nemcsak a kevésbé fejlett, hanem a feldolgozóipari térségek is visszafogják. Véleményünk szerint a jelenleg zajló újraiparosítási programok és projektek több vármegyében egy rövid távú felzárkózást követően várhatóan tartós fejlődésicsapda-helyzetet idéznek elő, hasonlóan a korábban sikeres feldolgozóipari térségekhez.
