A közismereti tudás és az elkötelezettség hatása a szakiskolát végzettek munkaerőpiaci esélyeire
[General knowledge and commitment as factors in the labour-market chances of those completing vocational-school courses]

Abstract

A tanulmány a szakiskolát végzett pályakezdők munkaerőpiaci elhelyezkedési esélyeit befolyásoló tényezőket vizsgálja. 2006 és 2012, illetve 2009 és 2012 közötti nagymintás adatfelvételek segítségével mutatja be a közismereti tudás és az idegennyelv-tudás, valamint az iskola, illetve a tanult szakma iránti elkötelezettség foglalkoztatottságra gyakorolt rövid távú hatását. Az eredmények alapján a szakiskolát végzettek csoportján belül is valószínűsíthetjük, hogy a közismereti tudás és az idegennyelv-tudás rövid távon javítja a foglalkoztatottság esélyét. Emellett a szakiskolát végzettek körében kimutattuk az iskola és a tanult szakma iránti elkötelezettség elhelyezkedési esélyre gyakorolt pozitív hatását is. Valószínűsíthetően azok boldogulnak a munkaerőpiacon, akik képesek alkalmazkodni a technológiai és munkaszervezési változásokhoz, és ehhez kellőképpen motiváltak, érdeklődők, és megfelelő tanulási és alapkészségekkel rendelkeznek. Ezért a szakmájuk iránt elhivatott, ismereteik bővítésére képes szakembereket lenne érdemes képezni.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: I20, I24, J01, J24.
