Abstract

Entrepreneurial education has become more popular in education centers. We examine the impact of this education on students. Entrepreneurial intention has decreased in Mexico during the last few years. For that reason, we investigate which variables increase the entrepreneurial intention, thereby provoking individuals start businesses, generate wealth and economic growth. The target of this study is to determine the influence of entrepreneurial education on the entrepreneurial intention of students from the Centre of Economic and Management Sciences from Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes, in Aguascalientes, Mexico. We employed least squares linear regression. Results show that entrepreneurial education has a significant influence on their entrepreneurial intention with a coefficient of 0.135 y and p value lower than 0.05
