Chinas Marktwirtschaftsstatus und die Anti-Dumping-Gesetzgebung der EU

Abstract

Artikel 15 in Chinas Beitrittsprotokoll zur WTO aus dem Jahr 2001 besagt, dass im Falle von Preisdumping die WTO-Mitglieder gegenüber dem Land strengere Handelsschutzregeln anwenden dürfen. Der entsprechende Passus im Beitrittsprotokoll ist für eine Frist von 15 Jahren festgelegt worden. In den USA und der EU diskutieren deshalb die verantwortlichen politischen Institutionen, ob und wie die Handelsschutzregeln gegenüber China spätestens Ende 2016 angepasst werden müssen. Der Artikel legt zunächst die wirtschaftspolitische Problemlage dar, um anschließend unterschiedliche Lösungsansätze vorzustellen.
