Abstract

Im Oktober wurden die ersten Ergebnisse der PIAAC-Studie veröffentlicht. Nachdem in PISA die Kompetenzen von Schülerinnen und Schülern getestet wurden, wurden nunmehr die Erwachsenen geprüft. Führende an der Entwicklung und Auswertung von PIAAC beteiligte Personen – Beatrice Rammstedt, Silke Martin und Natascha Massing, GESIS – Leibniz-Institut für Sozialwissenschaften, Mannheim, Andreas Schleicher, OECD, Simon Wiederhold und Ludger Wößmann, ifo Institut, Heike Solga, Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (WZB), Mark Levels und Rolf van der Velden, Maastricht University, Cornelia Quennet-Thielen, Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung – stellen erste Befunde zu Stand und Bedeutung der Grundkompetenzen Erwachsener vor.
