Westdeutsche Industrie: Anhaltende Investitionsbereitschaft

Abstract

Nach den aktuellen Ergebnissen des ifo Investitionstests wollen die Unternehmen des westdeutschen Verarbeitenden Gewerbes 2012 rund 6% mehr in neue Bauten und Ausrüstungsgüter investieren als im letzten Jahr. Für das Jahr 2011 ergaben die Meldungen der Erhebungsteilnehmer einen Anstieg von 16%. Bei den Investitionsmotiven hat die Kapazitätserweiterung gegenüber den vorausgegangenen zwei Jahren wieder an Bedeutung gewonnen. 2011 war der Prozentsatz der Investitionen, die in Erweiterungen flossen, ähnlich hoch wie der entsprechende Anteil der Ersatzbeschaffungen. In diesem Jahr dürften die Erweiterungen wieder hinter Ersatzbeschaffungen an zweiter Stelle stehen. Die Rationalisierung hat im Laufe der letzten Jahre spürbar an Gewicht verloren.
