Gesamtwirtschaftliche Produktion und Preisniveau: Volumenrechnungen im Vergleich

Abstract

Auf der Grundlage der Entscheidung der EU-Kommission vom 30. November 1998 hat das Statistische Bundesamt im Frühjahr 2005 die Berechnung des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland von der Festpreisbasis auf die Vorjahrespreisbasis umgestellt. Seit Februar dieses Jahres wird nun auch vom Arbeitskreis "Volkswirtschaftliche Gesamtrechnungen der Länder" auf regionaler Ebene dieses Konzept angewandt. Der Übergang auf die Vorjahrespreisbasis mit einer jährlich wechselnden Gewichtung hat nicht unerhebliche Neuerungen mit sich gebracht. Der Beitrag zeigt die Konsequenzen des Methodenwechsels für die Messung von Wirtschaftswachstum und gesamtwirtschaftlicher Preisentwicklung auf.
