Deutschland bremst Aufschwung in Europas Bauwirtschaft - Ausgewählte Ergebnisse der Euroconstruct-Sommerkonferenz 2005

Abstract

Im Mittelpunkt der Euroconstruct-Sommerkonferenz 2005 standen traditionell die aktualisierten Prognosen zur Entwicklung der Bautätigkeit in den 19 Mitgliedsländern des Euroconstruct-Netzwerks: Für das laufende Jahr wird - wie schon 2004 - eine Zunahme des europäischen Bauvolumens um etwas über 2% erwartet, die Aufwärtsentwicklung flacht aber 2006 und im Ausblick auf 2007 schon wieder ab (jeweils rund + 1½%). Der Wohnungsbau dürfte seine Schwächephase zwar überwinden, der Wiederanstieg bleibt aber verhalten. Während der Tiefbau in der ganzen Prognoseperiode kontinuierlich ausgeweitet wird, kommt der Nichtwohnhochbau nach deutlichen Rückschlägen erst verzögert, dann aber wieder recht kräftig "auf Touren". Die Entwicklung verläuft in den einbezogenen 19 europäischen Ländern weiterhin hochgradig unterschiedlich, insbesondere Deutschland zieht mit seinem zunächst noch schrumpfenden Bauvolumen das Gesamtergebnis stark nach unten. Allein deshalb bleibt das Bauwachstum in Europa bis 2007 voraussichtlich hinter den Zuwachsraten der Gesamtwirtschaft zurück.
