Investitionsprognosen der Leasinggesellschaften mit hoher Treffsicherheit - Ein neuer Indikator für die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Ausrüstungsinvestitionen

Abstract

Nach jahrelangen Vorarbeiten ist es dem ifo Institut in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bundesverband Deutscher Leasing-Gesellschaften gelungen, aus dem Konjunkturtest in der Leasingbranche einen Indikator für die Entwicklung der Ausrüstungsinvestitionen in Deutschland zu konstruieren. Auch wenn die Forschungsarbeiten des ifo Instituts noch nicht abgeschlossen sind, lässt sich mit einiger Sicherheit schon jetzt feststellen, dass die Geschäftserwartungen der Leasinggesellschaften einen deutlichen zeitlichen Vorlauf von rund einem halben Jahr gegenüber den vom Statistischen Bundesamt publizierten Investitionszahlen haben und ein treffsicherer Indikator für die Ausrüstungsinvestitionen sind. Nach den neuesten Ergebnissen dürften diese in der ersten Jahreshälfte 2001 einen Zuwachs von etwa 6 1/2 % erreichen.
