Wissens- und Technologietransfer in Deutschland - ein langer Weg zu mehr Effizienz

Abstract

Für die technologische Leistungs- und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit einer Volkswirtschaft hat der Wissens- und Technologietransfer von der Wissenschaft in die Wirtschaft eine wichtige Bedeutung. Es wird deshalb in den Industrieländern seit langem darüber diskutiert, wie das Innovationssystem organisiert sein muss, damit technologisches Wissen von den Forschungsinstituten in die Unternehmen ungehindert fließen kann. Im Folgenden werden die Ergebnisse einer neuen Studie vorgelegt, die das ifo Institut (Michael Reinhard) zusammen mit dem Fraunhofer-Institut Systemtechnik und Innovationsforschung, Karlsruhe (Jakob Edler und Ulrich Schmoch) und dem Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung, Mannheim (Dirk Czarnitzki, Georg Licht, Christian Rammer und Alfred Spielkamp), durchgeführt hat. Die drei beteiligten Institute stellen in den folgenden Aufsätzen den Teil der Ergebnisse vor, für den sie im Rahmen der Gesamtstudie die federführende Verantwortung hatten.
