Regionale Beschäftigungseffekte des Mindestlohns im Freistaat Sachsen

Abstract

Ab dem 1. Januar 2015 soll im gesamten Bundesgebiet ein flächendeckender Mindestlohn von 8,50 € je Zeitstunde gelten. Anhand simulierter Lohnverteilungen für das Jahr 2015 quantifizieren wir die Auswirkungen dieses Mindestlohns auf die Beschäftigung in den einzelnen Landkreisen und kreisfreien Städten im Freistaat Sachsen. Unsere Berechnungen zeigen, dass die Beschäftigungsverluste in Sachsen höher sind als im Bundesdurchschnitt und dass insbesondere grenznahe Landkreise besonders stark betroffen sind.
