Sieg der Defensive? Evidenz für die 1. Deutsche Fußball-Liga

Abstract

Auf Basis detaillierter Informationen zu den Spielen der 1. deutschen Fußball-Bundesliga aus sechs Spielzeiten, darunter die Spielzeiten 2011/2012 und 2012/2013 sowie jeweils zwei Spielzeiten unmittelbar vor und nach der Einführung der Drei-Punkteregel in der Saison 1995/1996, zeigt dieser Beitrag die intertemporale Entwicklung diverser Indikatoren für die Spielweise auf. Insbesondere die im Mittel gesunkene Anzahl an Torschüssen deutet auf eine defensivere Spielweise im Vergleich zu den 90er Jahren hin. Unsere jeweils für Heim- und Auswärts-Mannschaften getrennt vorgenommenen Fixedund Random-Effects-Schätzungen zur Erklärung der Wahrscheinlichkeit für einen Sieg zeigen, dass die Wahrscheinlichkeit für einen Heimsieg in den beiden jüngsten Spielzeiten dennoch nicht statistisch signifikant niedriger liegt als in den Saisons vor Einführung der Drei-Punkte-Regel, die Wahrscheinlichkeit für einen Auswärtssieg ist in den Spielzeiten 2011/2012 und 2012/2013 sogar signifikant höher.
