Sozioökonomische Daten auf Rasterebene: Datenbeschreibung der microm-Rasterdaten

Abstract

Regionale Analysen benötigen ihrer jeweiligen Forschungsfrage adäquate Daten. Aufgrund ihrer sowohl räumlichen Vollständigkeit als auch inhaltlichen und zeitlichen Breite werden seit langem administrative Daten z.B. auf Gemeinde- oder Kreisebene verwendet. Allerdings bilden administrative Daten aufgrund ihres unterschiedlichen räumlichen Zuschnittes die Zusammenhänge nicht immer angemessen ab. Oft können kleiner gegliederte räumliche Einheiten einen detaillierten Einblick geben. Das FDZ Ruhr am RWI bietet Daten auf 1km2 Ebene an, die Rückschlüsse auf Bevölkerung und deren demografische Struktur, ethnische Zusammensetzung, Haushalts- und Siedlungsstruktur, Einkommen und Vermögen zulassen. Diese Daten werden originär von der Mikromarketing- System und Consult GmbH (microm) ermittelt und sollen der wissenschaftlichen Forschung zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
