Abstract

Die wissenschaftliche Disziplin der Wirtschaftsethik kann systematisch zwei Beiträge zur nachhaltigen Förderung globaler Ernährungssicherheit leisten. (a) Der erste Beitrag besteht darin, zur wirksamen Bekämpfung von Hunger und Armut konkrete politische Maßnahmen (sowie das Unterlassen bestimmter Maßnahmen) zu empfehlen. Hier geht es darum, moralische Anliegen durch institutionelle Reformen zu verwirklichen, also mehr Moral möglich zu machen. (b) Der zweite Beitrag besteht in dem Nachweis, dass die Verwendung normativer Kategorien im politischen Diskurs nicht nur extrem emotionalisierend, sondern auch extrem irreführend sein kann. Es gibt Formen der Moralkommunikation, vor denen wir uns hüten sollten, weil sie nicht moralische Orientierung bieten, sondern zur Des-Orientierung verleiten.
