Die Trägheit von Zinssätzen und Kreditrationierung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland

Abstract

Im Zuge der Analyse temporärer Ungleichgewichtssituationen wurde in den letzten Jahren auch der Kreditmarkt untersucht. Die Existenz von Kreditrationierung auf Mikromärkten wird dabei als das Ergebnis asymmetrischer Informationen zwischen Kreditgeber und -nehmer betrachtet. Dieser Aspekt wird mit einem langfristig an den Grenzkosten orientierten Preissetzungsverhalten der Banken kombiniert. Das entstehende Modell führt in seiner reduzierten Form auf Gleichungen, die Anpassungsmechanismen zwischen Einlagen-, Kredit- und Geldmarktzinssätzen beschreiben. Dieses Modell wird in Fehlerkorrekturform geschätzt, um die unterschiedliche Dynamik der kurz- und langfristigen Anpassung abzubilden. Die Hypothese einer verzögerten Anpassung des Kreditzinses an den Geldmarktzins läßt sich bei der empirischen Überprüfung für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland mit Monatsdaten für den Zeitraum 1975.02 - 1989.10 nicht verwerfen. Diese verzögerte Anpassung wird im Modell durch die Anpassungskosten bei asymmetrischen Informationen erklärt.
