Wirtschaftliche Grundlagen des Regionalismus in der Russischen Föderation

Abstract

Den Schwerpunkt dieses Beitrags bildet eine Clusteranalyse der Wirtschaftsstruktur der regionalen Gebietskörperschaften in der Russischen Föderation. Es sollen Gruppen regionaler Einheiten identifiziert werden, die hinsichtlich der künftigen Ausgestaltung der Beziehungen zwischen Zentrum und Regionen einschließlich der interregionalen Transfers eine ähnliche Interessenlage aufweisen. Dabei zeigt sich, daß die Masse der russischen Bevölkerung in Gebieten lebt, die sich in bezug auf die untersuchten Merkmale - Exporte, Rohstofförderung, Schwerindustrie, Landwirtschaft, Militärisch-industrieller Komplex - nur mäßig unterscheiden. Allenfalls für einige rohstoffreiche fernöstliche Gebietskörperschaften könnte wegen ihrer geografischen Nähe zur ostasiatischen Wachstumsregion eine weitgehende Abkoppelung von der Russischen Föderation eine tragfähige Option darstellen.
