Abstract

Das dezentrale Bankensystem in Deutschland ist von Bedeutung für eine ausgeglichene Regionalentwicklung und Krisenresilienz. Dass die Niedrigzinspolitik der EZB, zunehmende Regulierungsanforderungen, die Digitalisierung und Wettbewerbsverschärfung zu einer Herausforderung für Sparkassen und Genossenschaften werden können, wird vielfach diskutiert. Dass allerdings auch andere Politiken, z.B. die Sozialpolitik, regionale Wirkungen auf dezentrale Bankensysteme haben, wird kaum betrachtet. Dieser Beitrag erörtert daher mögliche Einflüsse der gesetzlichen Rentenversicherung auf das dezentrale Bankensystem in Deutschland.
