Wirtschaftliche Untersuchungen von Kurier-, Express-, und Paketdienstleistungen im suburbanen Raum

Abstract

[Thematik der Arbeit:] In der vorliegenden Arbeit geht es um die Paketzustellung in ländlichen Gebieten, in denen es keine lokalen Geschäfte gibt, die als Paketshop dienen könnten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt vor allem auf der wirtschaftlichen Untersuchung von KEPDienstleistungen (Kurier-, Express-, und Paketdienstleistungen), die nicht die Haustürzustellung vorsehen. Eine Zustellung unabhängig vom Empfänger ist im Kosten-Nutzen-Vergleich für beide Seiten optimal. Es soll von der Möglichkeit der Haustürzustellung abgewichen werden, da diese die Anwesenheit des Empfängers erfordert, was aufgrund von Berufstätigkeit, aktiver Freizeitgestaltung und weiteren Faktoren nicht immer gegeben ist. Die Haustürzustellung wird derzeit noch kostenlos angeboten, in absehbarer Zukunft kann dies jedoch nicht in dieser Form bewerkstelligt werden, da dieser Service aufgrund verschiedener Gegebenheiten, wie beispielsweise der steigenden Anzahl an Fahrten aufgrund von taggleichen Lieferungen, zum Spitzenservice wird. Dies führt wiederum dazu, dass Varianten als Alternativen geschaffen werden sollen, die das kostenlose Empfangen von Paketen weiterhin möglich machen, wenn auch zum Teil unter Mithilfe der Empfänger. Besondere Bedeutung erlangt diese Thematik unter anderem aufgrund der Prognose über die steigende Anzahl an Paketsendungen bis 2023. Diese Mutmaßung wird durch verschiedene Faktoren, wie die steigende Arbeitsteilung, die weltweite Beschaffung, steigender Internethandel und auch durch die Zunahme der weltweiten Bevölkerung gestützt.
