Aceptación de un sello de calidad hortícola. Una aplicación de tablas de contingencia a tres vías

Abstract

En el presente trabajo, se analiza la relación entre diversos factores que influyen en el consumo de hortalizas frescas y la aceptación de un sello de calidad para las mismas. Con base en tablas de contingencia a tres vías de clasificación, se aplicaron las Pruebas Estadísticas de Cochran y de Mantel-Haeszel y, adicionalmente, las de Breslow-Day y de Tarone a datos provenientes de un relevamiento llevado a cabo en la Ciudad de Mar del Plata, durante el año 2016, estratificando por el nivel socioeconómico de los encuestados. Se detectó que la preocupación por los residuos de agroquímicos en las hortalizas frescas, conocer su origen o la confianza en el vendedor/productor que las provee y la riqueza nutritiva y la apariencia externa de las mismas se encuentran asociados a la aceptación de un sello que garantice una producción más saludable para los consumidores y para el medio ambiente.
