Propuesta de un sistema de información para una institución de salud mental utilizando Investigación Operativa Soft

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es el análisis y definición de requisitos para el diseño de un sistema de información de una institución de salud mental de la ciudad de Mar del Plata, Argentina. Esta organización se dedica a brindar tratamiento a personas por el uso indebido de drogas, con tres modalidades de tratamiento, según los requerimientos de cada paciente. Se aplican metodologías para estructurar el problema, particularmente la Investigación Operativa Soft, con el propósito de detectar en forma participativa las principales debilidades del actual sistema de información y definir los requisitos para el diseño de un sistema de gestión integrado que mejore la toma de decisiones y la eficiencia operativa. Se realizan reuniones con los actores claves de proceso: Gerencia, Finanzas. Terapéutica y Psiquiatría. Se identifican las debilidades e impactos que genera el actual sistema de información en las distintas áreas, permitiendo evidenciar el requerimiento para el nuevo software de gestión. El fin de su implantación es mejorar la disponibilidad de información para la toma de decisiones, simplificar las tareas del personal y disminuir tiempos improductivos. Se propone continuar el proceso de selección del desarrollador mediante el Proceso Analítico de Jerarquías, para finalmente implementar el software de gestión requerido.
