L’expérimentation AvenirPro : un levier pour l’insertion professionnelle des élèves de CAP et BacPro

Abstract

Cette note présente les premiers résultats de l'expérimentation AvenirPro, qui vise à améliorer l'insertion professionnelle des élèves de lycée professionnel en leur offrant la possibilité de bénéficier de l'accompagnement de conseillers de France Travail. En 2021-2022, le dispositif a accompagné 4 381 élèves au sein de 171 lycées. Il se compose de deux phases : une période d'accompagnement collectif en classe, visant à doter les élèves des connaissances nécessaires pour chercher un emploi adapté à leurs aspirations et compétences, et à préparer les entretiens d'embauche ; puis une période d'accompagnement individualisé pendant les cinq mois suivant la fin de l'année scolaire. Son évaluation a été réalisée en sélectionnant aléatoirement les lycées, les classes et les élèves bénéficiant des interventions de France Travail afin de créer un groupe traité et un groupe témoin a priori comparables. La comparaison de ces deux groupes révèle une amélioration considérable du taux d'emploi et du nombre de jours travaillés des élèves ayant bénéficié d'AvenirPro à un moindre coût pour les finances publiques. Cet impact est concentré sur ceux qui ont le moins de chance d'être en emploi six mois après la fin des études. Toutefois, le dispositif entraîne une diminution du taux d'inscription en études supérieures, dont les causes devront être précisées dans un contexte où une forte proportion d'entre eux les abandonne après la sortie du lycée.
