Abstract

This research note aims to situate research on "engineers in the process of innovation", in the itinerary of previous research inspired by the societal approach. It also briefly evokes how this particular research is situated among other theoritical perspectives that have developed recently, in particular the regulation school, the convention school, the "translation" school-Callon or "the National System of Innovation". Finally, it opens up new research perspectives in the field of innovation, considered as a central phenomenon of new productive systems. The results of this research have been presented in other LEST documents.
