La définition de la force de travail, pièce manquante de la Théorie de la Régulation ?

Abstract

Dans cet article, nous essayons de clarifier le statut théorique de la force de travail dans les approches en termes de régulation. Dans un premier temps, nous cherchons à expliciter les enjeux épistémologiques fondamentaux en mobilisant des débats contemporains d'histoire de la pensée économique. Dans un second temps, nous montrons la difficulté qu'il y a à donner un statut théorique positif à la force de travail. Nous plaidons pour une théorie institutionnaliste du rapport salarial qui articule la tradition de l'économie politique avec la perspective socio-économique.
