Abstract

La méthodologie proposée par la théorie enracinée permet dans une optique idéale de proposer des résultats généralisables et objectifs. Néanmoins, de nombreuses critiques sont adressées aux recherches basées sur cette méthode. Les principaux reproches sont le manque de rigueur dans l'analyse des données et la mauvaise restitution du travail du chercheur dans sa recherche. L'utilisation de logiciels d'aide à l'analyse des données qualitatives permet de développer les possibilités d'analyse des données au sein de la théorie enracinée. Ces logiciels utilisent la puissance de l'outil informatique pour épauler le chercheur dans de nombreuses tâches nécessaires à l'élaboration d'une théorie enracinée de bonne qualité. En nous basant sur la littérature et une expérience de l'utilisation de ces outils de plus de sept ans, nous montrons de quelle façon ces logiciels permettent d'améliorer la qualité de la recherche basée sur la méthodologie enracinée. Nous mettons toutefois en garde les utilisateurs potentiels de tels logiciels en présentant cinq pièges auxquels peuvent être confrontés les chercheurs débutants comme les chercheurs confirmés. Nous espérons ainsi contribuer à la propagation de la bonne utilisation des logiciels d'aide à l'analyse des données, en rendant explicites les possibilités et inconvénients liés des ces logiciels.
