Abstract

Cette communication appréhende le phénomène de modularisation dans une double dimension, technique et stratégique. Elle s'intéresse plus particulièrement aux secteurs de produits et systèmes complexes (PSCo). La première section s'attache à décrire l'ensemble des mutations organisationnelles que suscite la modularisation tant au niveau interne de la firme qu'au niveau de son "organisation verticale externe". L'objet de la seconde section est d'identifier les implications sectorielles de la mise en oeuvre de telles stratégies en prenant appui sur l'industrie automobile.
