La donnée : un enjeu managérial à saisir pour les universités

Abstract

La transformation numérique constitue un processus au long cours auquel toutes les organisations sont désormais confrontées. C'est en particulier le cas des universités, que ce soit vis-à-vis de leurs missions fondamentales de recherche et de formation, ou de l'ensemble des activités et services qui les supportent ou les soutiennent. Dans une perspective exploratoire, nous proposons de dresser un panorama de ces transformations en les mettant en lien avec les transformations managériales du secteur public en général, universitaire en particulier. Sur cette base complétée par l'exploitation d'entretiens réalisés avec des professionnels du secteur, nous mettrons en perspective cet état des lieux en interrogeant en particulier la capacité des universités à gérer leurs données : quelles initiatives ont-elles prises à cet égard et quels obstacles doivent-elles surmonter ? Nous en tirerons des propositions à destination des managers universitaires ainsi que des perspectives de recherche.
