Abstract

Les BRICS (Brésil, Russie,, Chine, Inde, Afrique du Sud) deviennent une force importante dans le concert international des Nations. Grand pays très peuplés, ils ont parfois été l'exemple des pays en développement avec de la famine endémique (Inde), des structures de production socialistes (Russie) ou communistes (Chine), l'apartheid (Afrique du Sud) ou les dictatures militaires (Brésil). Aujourd'hui, ils exercent à différents titres un poids très important dans le concert internationale, notamment la Chine (dont les conflits avec les Etats-Unis font parler de Chinamérique), la Russie (puissance nucléaire), l'Inde (et son milliard d'habitant), le Brésil (et son poids sur l'Amérique latine) et l'Afrique du Sud, grande puissance économique et morale (Mandela) de l'Afrique. Cependant, ces pays n'ont pas toujours des intérêts communs et leur entente ne peut être que circonstancielle.
